New Grange Manor is holding it's second Boarding School on the weekend of the 16 - 19th. of October 2009.
In order to have the best possible setting for the New Grange Manor Boarding School I (Miss Livingstone) have been to look at several venues, and have found the perfect one in Sommerset.
It is an old Boarding school with many original features remaining. It also has another building which has a massive hall (for light PE & drama ), two classrooms, a kitchen unit and a staff room.

See the provisional timetable.
The bedrooms are perfect, a floor for the pupils and a floor for the staff. All rooms are indivually named after previous Vicars of the church (orginally the Vicarage), with plenty of bathrooms and toilets on each floor.
The kitchen/diner has masses of room for us all to sit and eat comfortably. There are two other rooms downstairs as well, both school-like. There is no television so it will be board games and reading after dinner.
The gardens are extensive and there are walks to the hill and valley. It even has free range chickens rescued from a battery farm. Once we pull in there are no outside distractions or people to overlook us.
The place is so easy to find I didn't get lost once, the drive from Farnborough taking just over two hours - without recourse to speeding - and there are plenty of parking spaces.
Therefore I have booked both the house and the school unit. The cost has gone down and will now be £175.00 per capita. This gives us enough surplus for a special educational visit, I have a plan already in mind of where to go.
